Manchester United super prospect Angel Gomes made his debut with the senior club this past May, when he subbed on for Wayne Rooney in a 2-0 win over Crystal Palace in the regular season finale. That match, in which manager Jose Mourinho fielded a lot of youngsters, gave MUFC supporters a glimpse into what they could expect from both the youth system in general and the wonder kid individually in the near future.
Gomes, who joined the youth academy at the age of six, scored for the England U17s as they began their World Cup campaign in earnest, crushing Chile 4-0 in India.
Borussia Dortmund youngster Jordan Sancho (more on him here) bagged a brace but Angel Gomes has Red Devils supporters excited for the future.

Gomes has already accomplished some MUFC history- at 16, he became the youngest player to make a senior team appearance since 1953 and he also became the youngest player to score a hat trick at academy level since 2001.
You can see why Angel Gomes is wanted by Barcelona in the transfer market.
