It continues to be a very exciting summer at Manchester United, with plenty of topics to discuss. What offseason, right?
So let’s take a spin through the latest news and notes items making the rounds on the internet today.

One analyst who supports the decision to extend Fellaini however is Gary Neville. Of course, it’s worth mentioning that Neville is definitely a pundit who has lately gone out of his way to be controversial and overtly seek attention for what he says.
“I don’t think it makes a huge difference either way because he’s not the final piece of the jigsaw that gets United back to winning the Premier League title,” Gary Neville said while speaking to Sky Sports News.
“There’s always a lot of exposure on Fellaini — people saying ‘he’s not a United midfielder’ — but the reality is he does contribute in the season and you need all different types in the dressing room.
“If United need to go long, he’s someone who can do it. If I was sat here as a United fan thinking he was the number one midfielder player I wouldn’t be happy. But if I was thinking he’s part of a midfield pool of four or five players then I would be satisfied with that.”
-After France eliminated Lionel Messi and Argentina yesterday in the first knockout round match of this World Cup, Paul Pogba paid homage to the galactico and La Albiceleste de facto player-coach. Pogba says Messi is probably the best player in the world and that he makes him love the game more.
High praise from the Manchester United midfielder during a post game interview on the pitch.
“We know that we are playing against probably the best player in the world,” Pogba said to TyC Sports, after Les Bleus thrilling 4-3 win over Argentina.
“For 10 years now I have been watching him, learning from him. He makes me love football more, always.
“We want to play against the best, and today we won against the best. I will always be united with him, world class players like him, that is all I want to say.”
Finally, some United transfer talk for you, as another huge club is being linked to Anthony Martial- Bayern Munich, according to the Sunday Express. Yes, throw the Bavarian giants into the ring with Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus.
