Victor Munoz cut his post-World Cup holiday short, in order to join up with his new team earlier than expected. One of Liverpool’s main signings this summer, he should make his debut in a Reds shirt against AS Monaco on Sunday. Doubtful that he starts, but if that is the case, he wouldn’t play for too long, given the lack of training time that he has had with his new teammates.
Munoz is one of the Liverpool players returning to the team after post-World Cup break, and this exhibition match will be all about re-integrating them back into the team.
