Liverpool GK Simon Mignolet ripped apart on Twitter

All morning long Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet has been a top ten trending term in the United States on Twitter. Football fans are having a good old time ripping him to pieces and doing so in a hilarious fashion. Mignolet has made a couple mistakes, and the Reds blew a 1-0 lead at home to West Bromwich Albion.

Liverpool fell behind 2-1 in the second half, but responded well in extra time, finding an equalizer from Divock Origi. The final result with West Brom was a 2-2 draw.

Mignolet has drawn the ire of LFC fans over this gaffe, and rightly so, as it’s pretty bad.

This might be the funniest of all the Mignolet insults that we’re seeing right now. LOL!

Liverpool have really shown a lot of improvement since they brought in Jurgen Klopp as Manager. They have truly improved their domestic form and they’re still alive in both Europa League and League Cup. However, if they’re going to really take the next step up, then a replacement for Simon Mignolet should really be considered.
