Rap star Loyle Carner is currently on tour in Ireland, Scotland and northern England, where he just happened upon an off day in Liverpool. What to do with a day that has no work obligations? Take a trip to Anfield Road of course.
Carner tweeted at the official LFC account, but they were not his route inside. A supporters podcast named The Anfield Wrap came through for Loyle Carner, and that led to an experience that inspired him to say “dreams really come true.”

Carner later added: “It’s the best day of my life. I just want to be here for the rest of my life.” The very next day Loyle Carner played a show in Liverpool and you know that concert was just completely off the heezy.
LFC are currently tied 1-1 with Newcastle United midway through the second half at St. James Park.
