Happy summer Diego Costa! And to the rest of us for that matter. Costa and Chelsea have some business to iron out. Costa wants a return to Atletico Madrid who have been hit by a transfer ban. It’s a complicated situation, which just further complicates all the buying and selling that Chelsea FC wants and needs to do this summer.
It’s a domino theory in action, affecting: Monaco and Tiemoue Bakayoko, Everton and Romelu Lukaku, Manchester United and Nemanja Matic. In summation, the summer transfer window hasn’t really heated up yet, and there should be a ton of “watch this space” coming up.
