Don’t fix what’s not broken. Chelsea FC Manager Antonio Conte has decided to keep the same exact starting lineup today that he had exactly one week ago. The Blues destroyed Manchester United 4-0 last week, and Conte is keeping the same exact starting XI from that victory in place against Southampton.
Kickoff at St. Mary’s is just minutes away now.
Here’s the starting lineup, and then also the substitutes as tweeted out by the official Chelsea FC account minutes ago:
Chelsea team today: Courtois; Azpilicueta, David Luiz, Cahill (c); Moses, Kante, Matic, Alonso; Pedro, Diego Costa, Hazard. #CFC

Chelsea substitutes v Southampton: Begovic, Ivanovic, Terry, Chalobah, Oscar, Willian, Batshuayi. #CFC

And then here on the opposite side, for Southampton, here you have the Saints starting XI and their subs.
Southampton team today: Forster, Martina, Fonte (c), Van Dijk, Bertrand, Romeu, Clasie, Davis, Tadic, Redmond, Austin. #CFC

Enjoy the match! We’re predicting a 2-1 win by Chelsea FC, but who knows what will happen? The only thing you can be certain of with predictions is that no one actually cares about your prediction other than yourself.
