Chelsea FC super-prospect Callum Hudson-Odoi is one of two English players who made The Guardian’s ‘Next Generation 2017: 60 of the best young talents in world football’ list, which was released yesterday. The other Jadon Sancho, currently with Borussia Dortmund, who we profiled in detail previously.
Sancho was player of the tournament at the U17 Euros and found himself coveted by Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur & Arsenal before Manchester City let him go to BVB.
We have video highlights of both young superstars in the making here via FFDTV.
Hudson-Odoi scored in the Euro U17 final as well as in both legs of the FA Youth Cup final victory over Manchester City last season. Here embedded below is his skill compilation video:
Here’s video of his free kick in the UEFA Youth League earlier this season:
Other than Hudson-Odoi and Chelsea, the only other English Premier League club represented on The Guardian’s list is Manchester City, who landed two players Lorenzo Gonzalez of Switzerland and Benjamin Garre of Argentina.
Moving on to Sancho, you can check out his highlights at the following links: Compilation, 16/17 highlights and Euro U17 highlights.
