The League Cup isn’t the most captivating of competitions, but this next round, the round of 16, should be a lot of fun. In it you have two match-ups that are all big six, with Manchester United at Chelsea perhaps the clash that most observers will be looking forward to.

United have had the advantage in the series as of late, but the Blues are coming into their own right now, and their overall form has been vastly superior to that of United’s this season. And now that they have figured out how to get Christian Pulisic fully involved, with the results showing that this past weekend, perhaps the Blues will reach another higher level up now.

Regardless of recent Premier League form, this is just a bad match-up for the west London side. They are winless in their last four, including the past two home contests, against MUFC.
