Arsenal FC had a top four position in the palm of their hands, but they are simply letting it slip as they have now lost three of their last four. The Gunners head back on the road, a place that has been extremely unkind to them in 2018-19, for a Premier League fixture at Leicester City on Sunday.
For the Foxes, a chance at seventh place, and with it potentially a berth in the UEFA Europa League is at stake as they are just three points behind Wolverhampton Wanderers for that position. However, they really need a win here as their time and opportunity is starting to run out.
In looking at the fitness situation, Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is a doubt after undergoing a small sinus procedure this past week. He sat out the 3-1 defeat at Wolves on Wednesday and he faces a late fitness test to be ready for the Sunday lunch time clash.
Juventus bound midfielder Aaron Ramsey will be out again due to a hamstring injury. Meanwhile forgotten man Denis Suarez is also expected to miss out again due to a problem with his groin.
Finally, you also have the three long-term injury absentees: Danny Welbeck, Rob Holding and Hector Bellerin. As for the Foxes, they are pretty fit right now for the run in as there is only one notable injury absentee- Daniel Amartey, who remains out of commission.
Leicester have lethal against the big six this season, and one has to really like their chances in this one.
