ESPN the Magazine will soon release a music-themed issue. Many figures from across the world of sports were used to recreate famous images from the music world: Tampa Bay QB Josh Freeman became Michael Jackson on the cover of Thriller, Ryan Lochte became the baby from the Nirvana Nevermind cover etc. For as much as I rip the WWL, I have to hand it to the evil empire when they get things right; as they did here.
Alex Morgan, the gorgeous soccer star and USWNT striker became pop tart Katy Perry, as seen on the cover of her album One of the Boys. The video shows the transformation:
Morgan is right that she normally doesnโt look at all like Perry. Take a looksie
As you can see Perry has something Morgan doesn’t. It’s two things actually. An most high level athletes don’t have those two things anymore, because those things are largely composed of fat, and most elite athletes don’t have any fat.
