Erling Haaland Finally Unveiled by Manchester City

Welcome to the summer transfer window, officially! The biggest and most important player, arguably, who will change teams this summer, has just been officially “unveiled.” And by “unveiled” we just mean nothing more than the holding a new shirt/pen over a contract staged photo-opps. Erling Haaland, acquired by Manchester City from Borussia Dortmund, finally got that treatment today.

Erling Haaland was confirmed by both clubs back on May 10, so this “announcement” is anything but “news,” and it was well over a month in coming. You know what else you get with “unveilings,” the public statements.

Christian Pulisic Ranked 87th Most Valuable Player in the World

It’s the summer silly season, and yesterday brought “news” that Christian Pulisic is a substantial transfer target of Liverpool. Yes, a reunion with Jurgen Klopp (Borussia Dortmund days) could actually be in the cards, although the same reports also stated that Chelsea’s asking price could obstruct a potential deal.

What might that potential price be? Well, according to the CIES Football Observatory, the Chelsea forward has the 87th highest transfer value in the world, with a fee that could command a cool $66.5 million or 53M Euro.

Liverpool Want Christian Pulisic as Potential Sadio Mane Replacement

One of the best things about the summer transfer window is the domino theory. One player move leads to his now former club finding a replacement, and then that replacement player needing to be replaced, and so on and so on.

Which leads us to today’s hot transfer rumor- Chelsea man Christian Pulisic is wanted by Liverpool, as a potential replacement for Sadio Mane. Bayern Munich is the front-runner destination for Mane, who is expected to replace the goals that will be missing now that Robert Lewandowski is shipping out.

Edin Terzic Becomes New Borussia Dortmund Manager

Borussia Dortmund have found the man who they believe might lead them back to Bundesliga glory, in Edin Terzic, The 39-year-old, who led BVB to the DFB-Pokal while in charge on a caretaker basis last season and previously served as the Black & Yellows’ Technical Director, will now officially take over as senior squad/first team head coach.

The official announcement came today as Edin Terzic signed a deal that will keep at the position until June 2025. Dortmund have won eight league titles, with the most recent coming in 2011-12, where they repeated.
