The trend of Arsenal fans making news with their religious devotion to the club and/or interactivity with the players continues this week. This time it’s winger Theo Walcott, who invited a Gooner on to the pitch to celebrate the club’s latest FA Cup win yesterday.
Walcott even gave the supporter the shirt off his back, then made a motion indicating that removal of the kit made him feel a bit chilled. This is what world class athletes do though, to be there for their fans.

It’s very reminiscent of the news from just a few days ago, when a Gunners supporter named his daughter after the team by tricking his wife. Or yesterday when Mesut Ozil, made aware that an Arsenal fan dedicated his wedding toast to the midfielder, hooked the newlyweds up with tickets to a match.
