Danica Patrick led Daytona! Danica became the first woman to ever lead a lap at the Daytona 500. So no matter where she finishes, she’s already made history today. Unfortunately, with 55 laps to go, she’s dropped to 9th.
However, Danica Patrick led Daytona for 5 whole laps. And now that I update this post, she dropped to 12th, with 48 laps to go.
