When even your super fans are losing interest in and affection for you, it’s time to take a long, hard look in the mirror. This is the time for Manchester United to do some serious re-evaluation, as mega-supporter Usain Bolt is experiencing a loss of love for his club.
Yes, the “world’s fastest man” is growing weary of the dull tedium being displayed by Louis van Gaal’s brand of Manchester United football.
Usain Bolt is definitely not the only one who feels this way as even Van Gaal himself admits that he gets bored sometimes watching his side play.
In the past, Bolt has stated that he’d consider training with the club. When asked now if he’d still be interested in potentially doing so, he said that he doesn’t believe his fast paced style of football would get with the club’s current philosophy. Usain Bolt thinks that his up tempo, attacking style of football wouldn’t work with the Dutchman’s obsession with possession approach.
“Well, looking at how Van Gaal is, I don’t think I would ever want to be coached by him so I think I will put that on pause until we get a new coach,” Bolt said to the media at the Jamaican Sportsman of the Year awards.
