Man United fans enjoy Sky Sports ripping Man City attendance

There were plenty of tickets available at The Etihad for Manchester City’s 4-1 League Cup win over Hull City. Thousands of Man City fans who already possessed their tickets, apparently had much better things to watch the Capital One Cup live. Manchester United fans were delighted with yet another night of very poor attendance at the home of their “noisy neighbors,” as Sir Alex Ferguson would say.

United fans’ schadenfreude was showing.

Even the mainstream television outlets, the big networks, couldn’t hold their tongue here:

Yes, that’s Sky Sports. Even they got in on the fun. Soak it in Man United fans, soak it in. And Man City fans, try to show up in bigger numbers next time. Your team is the odds on favorite to win the League and they have the best odds of reaching top four as well. Support the side.
