If you paid any attention to the work of Tupac Shakur before he was taken from us in 1996, you’ll notice he seemed to convey a death wish through his music. Or at least prophesizing his own death. And then in the work through his alias Makaveli he seemed to prophesize his ressurrection.
Well, the next best thing is here with the $100,000-$400,000 Tupac hologram which performed at Coachella with Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg. You need to see this video to see how awesome it is- and you’ll quickly understand why it’s been trending worldwide on the net all week.
From Yahoo:
A source revealed that there will be discussions about a tour with the three performers. Possibilities range from a limited tour in smaller venues to a full-scale stadium tour involving other artists, with 50 Cent, Eminem, and Wiz Khalifa being named.
Afeni Shakur, Tupac’s mother, was “positively thrilled” with the Coachella performance as reported by TMZ. She wasn’t present at the massive music festival, but watched the live stream of the show. A representative for Afeni said that Dr. Dre asked for her approval to use Tupac’s image for the show, and she granted them. In return, Dre made a donation to Tupac’s charity, The Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation.
