Once the highly energized AFC and NFC Championship games end, the two weeks leading up to the Super Bowl make for one of the most annoying experiences for hardcore football fans. Not only do you have to be subject to intense commercialism, but also the same story-lines over and over day in, day out.
Here at The Sports Bank we like to have a little more fun with out Super Bowl story-lines. Instead of writing the same-old preview and prediction, we decided to amp it up with our prediction.
Drum up a beat in your head and enjoy the prediction for Super Bowl XLVII between the San Francisco 49ers and Baltimore Ravens via a dope freestyle.
Let’s kick it off with a kid named Kaepernick who can straight ball,
Truly amazing considering he rode the bench in the fall.
Started with a stampede of the Pack and out-quarterbacking of Matty Ice in the A-T-L,
Now can he make Ray Lewis’ end a living hell?
Lewis can’t help but deny the use of deer antler spray,
But in his mind he’s already playing Redding’s “Sitting on the Dock of the Bay.”
Whether he committed murder or not is hard to say,
Yet he and Ed Reed emceed one of the best shows of the last decade.
Not since The Wire have we seen players in the game as bad as Bowman and Willis,
Linebackers with no use for drugs, rather tackles and forced fumbles their style.
Will do their best to make sure this playoff run isn’t ended by a dude named Kyle.
Ray “Hey Diddle Diddle” Rice and Joe Flacco want so badly to be called elite,
Yet if they go “Up The Middle,” Aldon and Justin will make sure they’re beat.
Jacoby and Torrey are so so fast,
They could be the keys to make the Ravens’ surprising season last.
Don’t be fooled in to to thinking the Harbaugh brothers is friendly competition,
Just thinking of the two makes a prediction come to fruition.
By how much can John (Ravens) edge out Jim (49ers)?
I have the margin at 24-20 which is pretty slim.
Before I drop the mic on Super Bowl X-L-V-I-I
Make sure to have one helluva time with friends and family as I say bye.
