Paul Ryan visits Cleveland Browns, calls QB wrong name

GOP Vice Presidential candidate Paul Ryan visited Cleveland Browns practice with former secretary of state Condoleeza Rice.

Here’s what happened, according to Yahoo sports:

Rice, a longtime Browns fan who counts the great Jim Brown as one of her sports heroes, had no trouble identifying everybody on the field. Ryan, who’s from Wisconsin, had a few issues when trying to discern the difference between quarterbacks Brandon Weeden and Colt McCoy.

Ryan talked about how he remembered Weeden playing well for Oklahoma State last year … but he was pointing to McCoy, who attended Texas, at the time.

“You always had your helmet on,” he said to Weeden, in an attempt to explain himself.

Well, sir, that’s why they have numbers on their jersey

That’s a good thing in my opinion. That means he doesn’t have time to watch so much sports that he ignores his job like Obama does.
