New York Jets hilariously ripped to shreds by NFL pundits

The New York Jets were the punching bag of all punching bags on the NFL talking head shows on Sunday. In both the pre and post game shows, the NFL punditocracy, across all networks, really tore up the Jets.

NFL Network’s Marshall Faulk actually got the party started early last week with this brutal vivisection of the NY Jets wide receivers.

BRANDON TIERNEY: This is why the Jets are losers, and maybe always will be – because they never insulate their quarterback properly. When you had (Mark) Sanchez, you bring in the circus (Tim) Tebow. You have Geno (Smith), you bring in Mike Vick. It’s always a circus. They just don’t know how to move forward without distractions. They prove it to us every year.

NBC “Football Night in America,” Rodney Harrison on who he would start at QB: “I don’t know. They both looked terrible today.”

BART SCOTT: It’s panic mode up in New York right now. You go 1-4, it’s over with. I think Geno (Smith) has to be on a tight hook today. You have to look to see if Michael Vick is going to come in and try to give some kind of push.

(On the New York Jets quarterback situation)

SCOTT: Park the Camry (Smith).  Pull out the Ferrari (Vick).

Rough times for New York Jets fans.
