The Carolina Panthers have made it absolutely clear that they are very interested in taking Stanford QB Andrew Luck #1 overall in the NFL Draft in April. (He still needs to officially declare)
That leads us to this funny parody of a Starting Lineup action figure, brought to us by the wonderful people at Mini Van Gundy.
Jimmy Clausen had a horrendous rookie season, completing 53% of his passes for 1558 yards, 3 TDs and 9 INTs. Given the ugly numbers put up by the former Notre Dame star, it’s clear the Panthers are using their time on the clock to contemplate a new signal caller.
Then it’ll be on Clausen to figure out if his NFL legacy will be in the same category as former Golden-domer QBs Joe Theismann, Steve Beuerlein and Joe Montana; or Rick Mirer, Ron Powlus, and Brady Quinn.
