Tonight brings Chicago Cubs Opening Day with a trip to St. Louis, and a nationally televised clash against the arch-rival Cardinals. A week from tomorrow brings the home opener at Wrigley Field. Yes, the 2016 World Series Champions Cubs, the last great American sports news story turns the page to the next chapter starting….now.

We shall see what the defending champions do for an encore, and what the new narrative will be at Wrigley Field. It’s going to be real life cinema, just like what you can download at Keepvid, and sports is truly the best kind of reality television around. The greatest of screenwriters couldn’t have scripted how the Cubs won the fall classic last year.

Take note though there’s a new hash tag and emoji- #ThatsCub has replaced #FlyTheW

Since we brought up “the narrative,” there are five gripping narratives coming to Wrigley Field, specifically “The Park at Wrigley,” this summer. There’s also a sixth movie to be announced. Two of the five are baseball movies. Two of the five feature scenes at Wrigley Field. One of the five stars Bill Murray, the current celebrity Cubs fan ambassador.

All screenings take place at The Park at Wrigley. For Chicago Cubs fans, this will be their Outdoor Movie HQ. It’s located at 3637 N. Clark St, just north of Addison.
