There were four teams in the Premier League that won all three of their first three games- Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and Watford. The former two have both won their fourth games, emerging victorious earlier today. The latter two will meet at Vicarage Road tomorrow, and at least one team will be knocked from the ranks of the perfect.
Watford has thrust themselves into the race with with the traditional big six clubs (who comprised the top six finishes last season) for the top four places in the table, and with that UEFA Champions League qualification for next season.
Chelsea and Tottenham are tied for the third best (behind only Manchester City and Liverpool) odds of finishing in the top four, backed at 2/5 right now.
Tomorrow’s league fixture is huge regarding the race for the top four, so let’s take a look at who is hurt and who is available for both sides. Tottenham’s only doubt for this clash is Erik Lamela (hamstring), but they do have some injuries to contend with.
Victor Wanyama (knee), Juan Foyth (thigh), Vincent Janssen (foot), Hugo Lloris (thigh), Mousaa Sissoko (hamstring) could all miss this one. Flipping over to the Hornets, they will be without the services of the following players:
Miguel Britos (knock), Deulofeu (groin), Tom Cleverley (achilles) and Younes Kaboul (foot)
