In each of the past two seasons, Tottenham Hotspur was the last team standing between the eventual Premier League champion and the big prize. It wasn’t until Spurs were mathematically eliminated in 2016 that Leicester City officially claimed the title; likewise last year with Chelsea.
Is this the season that Manager Mauricio Pochettino can get the White Hart Lane outfit over that final hurdle? Spurs have gotten themselves back into the top four/Champions League the past two seasons, now can they run that final mile? The journey begins now in the preseason as Spurs have touched down in the United States of America to begin their exhibition match tour.

The team just landed a few hours ago in Orlando, Florida.
Mauricio Pochettino brought everybody along who matters on the trip too. None of the big names were left behind. Obviously, all the stars will see very limited action in these contests, but they’re still here. Spurs being the stateside tour Saturday when they face Paris Saint-Germain at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando. Then it’s AS Roma at Red Bull Arena in New York on the 25th. The third and final clash in the U.S. will be against Manchester City on the 29th in Nashville’s Nissan Stadium.
