Tottenham Hotspur supporters are taking over Twitter right now with #COYS (“Come on you Spurs”) trending worldwide right now.
Chelsea’s shock loss at home to Crystal Palace got Spurs fans active, and their 2-0 win at Burnley, a place that’s very difficult for an away side to come in and take all three points, inspired them to proverbially “break” the micro-blogging platform.
Of course, Spurs still face a very uphill climb for the league title, but entering today there was not really any true hope. Things seem to have totally changed now, with Spurs seven points adrift of first place Chelsea, with nine left to play.
Spurs fans are currently going crazy on social media with their excitement.
A legitimate title race is good not just for them, but for neutrals, and the league as a whole. Here is a collection of some of the better #COYS Tweets from the Tottenham community.
