According to multiple outlets all across the world, Paris Saint-Germain and Totteham Hotspur are finalizing a transfer deal for Lucas Moura. The Brazilian right-winger was not in the line-up, nor on the bench for PSG’s Ligue 1 home clash against Montpellier today. It appears both clubs want the transaction, and the player himself wants the move, with the only remaining hold-up an agreement on the transfer fee.
Le Parisien reports that as of last night: “the two clubs had not yet found common ground,” but also that an agreement has been reached on a three and a half year deal that would potentially keep Moura at the north London side until 2021.

PSG have yet to sell a player this January transfer window, and with Financial Fair Play concerns in mind, they will be motivated to move Moura, even if it is at a cut rate. Obviously, it’s a huge advantage to Mauricio Pochettino and the north London side, who got a great price from Paris on Serge Aurier in the summer.
Brazilian outlet OUL seems rather confident that this deal will get done soon, and they discuss the potential transfer fee thusly:
“In order for the agreement with Tottenham to be implemented, PSG still needs to reduce its demand of 40 million euros, a scenario that is becoming increasingly probable in the face of the shortage of definitive offers of purchase. At first, the operation should be around 25 million euros, plus targets to be established.”
Meanwhile 101 Great Goals has a posting also quoting that price range, as their Lucas Moura article states: “According to reports in England today, Spurs will likely sign Lucas Moura for 23 million pounds.”
All in all, it appears as if the transaction will get confirmed and announced sooner rather than later, as this transfer news seems to be moving at a pretty fast pace.
