Tottenham Hotspur will look to put their Champions League defeat behind them when they take on Premier League strugglers Leicester City. The onslaught of games has eased up somewhat for the capital city club following the passing away of Queen Elizabeth II. This will be their first league fixture since September 3rd.
Spurs had a horrible time last time out in the Champions League against Sporting Lisbon, going down 2-0 in what was a shock result. Particularly so if you read my preview last week.
They couldn’t have asked for a better side to right the ship against in Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester side. The Foxes sit rock bottom of the EPL table with just one point. Just Leicester and Everton are still without a win in the Premier League so far this season.

Team News
The team news remains relatively positive for Spurs. Their injury list sits at just one, still. Lucas Moura remains the sole inhabitant of the Tottenham treatment room. The Brazilian attacker is suffering from a tendon issue around his calf/heel area. There is hope that the attacker could be fit at some stage in October.
Stueys Two Cents
Spurs burnt me in their midweek clash. I fully expected them to account for Sporting Lisbon easily. They didn’t, however, and that raises some questions about how good this Spurs side is. They need to respond this week. If they don’t respond against the league’s bottom placed side, perhaps this is yet another false dawn in North London.
