Yesterday saw Tottenham Hotspur crush Burnley FC 5-0, with one of those goals being scored by South Korean forward Heung-Min Son. It was more than just a scoring strike in the 32′, it was quite possibly the goal of the year; certainly, a nominee at the very least.

If you haven’t seen it yet, this sublime play by Son, take a look at watch below:

Said manager Jose Mourinho of the goal: “I remember when I was at Barcelona with Mr. [Bobby] Robson and Ronaldo Nazario scored a goal that is similar to Son’s.”

“And this was an amazing goal. I know that he is going to reach the face of the keeper and the control … he is unstoppable. The keeper is good, though, but he managed to put it in.”

The goal is being discussed all over social media, as the entire football world was very impressed. Here are a smattering of the reactions:

Wow. Son has just scored one of the greatest individual goals you’re ever likely to see. Goal of the season, me thinks.
