In 2015-16, much of the football world stayed in denial about Leicester City for about as long as they possibly could. All season long, most football pundits put off believing in them until they absolutely had to. However, today is the day! Fairy tales do come true. Pigs fly. Hell freezes over. The Foxes are the Premier League champions and undisputed.

When the season began, defending champion Chelsea were the favorite favorites. Leicester City, up in the top flight for just the second year, were a lowly 5,000-1 to long shot.

Then Manchester City became the favorites. Then Arsenal. Then Tottenham Hotspur.

Manchester United sat a top the table, not once but twice, albeit briefly. In the end though, it was Leicester who went out and took it. The plucky underdogs wanted it more and they earned it.
