New Liverpool Addition Mohamed Salah Claims Best Egyptian Ever Status

For Liverpool FC supporters wanting to know more about the club’s newest addition Mohamed Salah, the team has got you covered via a YouTube video. Salah was asked a series of very quick, light-hearted questions, the kind of stuff that gets asked at a summer Media Day session, and “who do you think is the greatest Egyptian footballer ever?” was among the list.

Salah responded by claiming that status for himself, and really who can argue? It’s hard to immediately think of a definitely better Egyptian player right off the top of your head. If you can think of some superior Egyptian players, please have at it in the comments section.

Perhaps the true highlight of the ‘Getting to know’ video though is when Liverpool’s club record signing (at least by some accounts he is) is asked to reveal the last lie that he told.

“Lie? I never lie,” Salah playfully responds. He’ll have a great future in politics once his playing days are over.

Another highlight of this clip is when Mohamed Salah is asked what his favorite subject in school was. He answers by saying that he didn’t care that much about school and he just wanted to play football. I love the blunt honesty there. See- he really does tell the truth all the time!
