Manchester United will begin training at the University of California-Los Angeles next week as they begin preparations for their long summer preseason exhibition tour of the United States. One current United player, Paul Pogba, was already training at UCLA, alongside his friend Romelu Lukaku who’s reportedly finalizing a move to join the Red Devils himself.
Lukaku, who reportedly met with United’s medical staff in Los Angeles, is certainly acting the part of a MUFC player. Everton, who have yet to publicly comment on his potential transfer, have struck a £75m deal with United, according to multiple outlets. Old Trafford is yet to make a statement on this news either.
The summer transfer window is a lot like an internet casino game, you just never know what’s going to happen until the outcome itself occurs. It’s also difficult to truly handicap league title races until all the transfers have taken place, and the new rosters have taken shape. The season starts a few weeks before the summer transfer window closes so instead you must look at the odds, and wager accordingly all along.
As of right now, Manchester United are receiving the second most favorable odds, typically. The sports books seem to like the busy summer they are having, as we usually see 10-3, 3-1 or 7-2 odds on a title. The other, blue side of Manchester are the favorite, as they’re usually backed at 15-8 or 7-4. You can play online now here. Speaking of playing, Lukaku may not officially be a member of the team yet, but he certainly proverbially “plays one on TV” (or in this case the internet).

Lukaku and Pogba are in L.A. strengthening their “bromance” on vacation right now, where they even had a little Fourth of July party with Toronto Raptors star Serge Ibaka. That’s why they were able to access UCLA before the rest of the Manchester United team flies in on Sunday and joins up with them in Westwood, California.
