Paul Pogba was the main topic of the Jose Mourinho news conference yesterday, as the Manchester United manager vehemently defended his player, the season the midfielder has had, and the manner in which he utilizes him. Mourinho also denied reports of a rift between himself and Pogba, and called stories claiming the Frenchman wants to leave Old Trafford as “big lies.”
Mourinho also made it clear that Pogba would play today, in the FA Cup fifth round match at Huddersfield Town A.F.C.
Gutted I won’t be at Huddersfield but I need to get better. Come on United ?? @ManUtd

His status changed overnight though, as Pogba fell ill overnight, and his illness will keep him out of the match. He is replaced in the squad by 19-year-old Scottish midfielder Ethan Hamilton. This will be the first time that Hamilton gets included in the senior team.
United now hope that Paul Pogba will be ready for the UEFA Champions League round of 16 road tie at Sevilla on Wednesday night.
