(UPDATE: Marcos Rojo is out for the season, having suffered a ruptured cruciate ligament in his left knee, according to multiple newspapers in England).

Manchester United fought deep into extra time, gaining a home win over Anderlecht in the UEFA Europa League quarter-final, and securing a spot in the semis. Marcus Rashford was the hero securing the game winner in the 107′, but the victory game with a tremendous price.

Defender Marcos Rojo had to be stretchered off, and a back line that’s already missing Chris Smalling and Phil Jones just got that much thinner.

Striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic also suffered a major injury, and it’s possible that the Swedish superstar may have played his final game in a United shirt.

Here is the Mourinho postgame interview in which he made the comments that are rather pessimistic about the health status of Marcos Rojo and Zlatan Ibrahimovic:

“I don’t think they are easy injuries, but I prefer to wait until all the tests are done and then speak. But the news is fairly negative I think,” Jose Mourinho said when asked to asses the health status of his injured players.
