Coming off the EFL Cup glory of this past weekend, Manchester United will now return to Premier League action with a clash at AFC Bournemouth. The 3-2 win over Southampton at Wembley Stadium last weekend saw United achieve the first trophy of the Jose Mourinho era (and the first for a MUFC manager in his first season).
Now comes a contest that must see them take all three points so that they can stay in contention for the top four.
Manchester United Jose Mourinho gave his weekly press conference today, and he revealed that Luke Shaw will be selected for this one. So that’s a huge jump up, as Mourinho pointed out. The young defender went from not even making the squad, to now in the first team.
Without further ado, we present to you, The Sports Bank’s Man United starting XI, 4-2-3-1 formation, prediction:
Zlatan Ibrahimovic
Anthony Martial Paul Pogba Marcus Rashford
