As we saw a couple months ago, Manchester United are back in black for their third/alternate kit in 2017-18. They replaced the blue shirt from 2016-17 with black, but at Old Trafford, it will be business as usual of course. The ’17-’18 Manchester United home kit will be red, obviously, a tradition unlike any other.
There were a series of new shirt reveals this past weekend, (Chelsea even incorporated 2-D from Gorillaz to roll out their new jersey), including the Manchester United home kit, take a look. Here are some photos and videos of the rollout, featuring a few of the players.

Notice the black collar around the shirt sleeves, which is a fairly unique added twist, on top of the white collar. That’s a new accoutrement while the club brings back buttons for the first time in a couple years. The players will likely end up undoing those buttons in the heat of battle when they work up a sweat and need to get more ventilation.
