Robin van Persie scored the gameโs only goal on a 27th-minute header to lift Manchester United to their third straight league win and hand his former club their first Premier League loss in 10 matches.
Manchester United beat the Premier League’s number one defense and closed the gap between themselves and first place. It had been 8 points entering the match. This fall, NBCSN has televised two of the three most-watched Premier League matches in U.S. cable history. United continued their recent dominance over Arsenal, proving that they indeed have their number.
