Anderson has left Manchester United, and the January transfer window has come and gone, but that doesn’t mean transfer talk stops. Anderson claims a number of his former Manchester United team-mates want to follow him out of Old Trafford.
The Brazilian international signed with Serie A side Fiorentina during the window that just passed. The Manchester Evening News Reports that a few more players, including Nani, want to also leave the Red Devils.
the 25-year-old claims ‘lots’ of United’s squad – including Portuguese winger Nani – ‘want out’.
Anderson said: “I’m sure that lots of players want out, especially players like myself and Nani who have been in Manchester for seven or eight years.
“Manchester United is a huge club, a club that does everything for its players but sometimes a footballer wants to leave just to experience a different way to play football, to learn something as well.”
It’s very hard to speculate who wants to leave, or who will leave by choice. But I’m guessing Javier Hernandez, Ryan Giggs, Tom Cleverley and Rio Ferdinand could all be out to the door come summer.
