Aaron Wan-Bissaka Passes United Medical; Announcement Expected Friday

Manchester United have now completed their second acquisition deal of the summer transfer window, as Aaron Wan-Bissaka has reportedly passed his medical. Sky Sports reports that the 21-year-old English international, now formerly of Crystal Palace, will be introduced as the newest member of United tomorrow.

The right back, who moved up to Old Trafford on a deal worth £50 million (£45m up front + £5m in add-ons), is expected to be officially unveiled as a Red Devil on Friday. However, it appeared somebody beat the club to the punch by leaking these photos on Wan-Bissaka in a United shirt online on Thursday.

The photo above and below circulated on the Red Devils sub-Reddit, and then went viral on social media, and made their way into the tabloids. So at least try and act surprised tomorrow.

Of course, this deal is one that we have all seen coming all month long, as the process moved along tediously.

According to Sky, AWB “flew to Manchester on Wednesday evening before completing the first part of his medical.”

This is a great pick up for the club, as he immediately slots in as a first-teamer at a position of real need.

He also becomes United’s most expensive defender ever and the team’s fifth most expensive player, behind only Paul Pogba, Romelu Lukaku, Angel Di Maria and Fred.
