We’re just over 24 hours now from Manchester City at Liverpool, an epic UEFA Champions League quarterfinal clash that’s almost certain to be highly entertaining. This match features the top two candidates for PFA Player of the Year in City’s Kevin De Bruyne and Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah.

De Bruyne, while lavishing high praise on Salah, says he deserves to win the award. “In one way I believe I deserve it, because I have been very consistent in my form, De Bruyne said in regards to the possibility of his claiming the honor.

“I am very happy with myself,” of winning the award. “I am very pleased with how I have played and I didn’t expect to be this good this season to be honest.

“There is almost no game where my standard has dropped, so I have been very constant. To maintain the level in the amount of games I have played, the amount of minutes, I am very pleased with that.”

That said, let’s take a look at who Pep Guardiola is likely to select for this blockbuster game.
