Last weekend saw table topping Liverpool drop points in Premier League play for the first time this season, meaning the title race is indeed on for 2019-20. It’s a two horse race, just like we all expected with the first clash coming on Nov. 10.
Unfortunately, Manchester City will be without the services of a couple key players in that one, and potentially sans Oleksandr Zinchenko and Rodri in addition. In other words, the central portion of the team is weakened right now and they need to use these next few matches to build that back up, ahead of the epic clash with the Reds in the middle of next month.
In the meantime, here’s what we are guessing City manager Pep Guardiola might go with when he picks his first team on Saturday, when Aston Villa comes to town for a Premier League fixture.
