Man United Team News at Bournemouth: Maguire, Rashford, Shaw, Matic

Manchester United head to AFC Bournemouth on Saturday to begin Premier League match day 11. They’ll do so sitting seventh in the table, two spots ahead of the host Cherries. The Red Devils are certainly streaking, looking to achieve their fourth straight win, road win mind you, across all competitions.

Bournemouth are level on points with United (13), as well as West Ham and Sheffield, but they sit two spots lower, in ninth place, on goal differential. Let’s take a look at the team news for both sides in this one, starting with the hosts.

None of the south coast club’s long term injury absentees will return for this one, but David Brooks is the furthest along in his convalescence. He might back next week whilst Dan Gosling might be back in the mix come December. Meanwhile Charlie Daniels and Junior Stanislas are out of commission until after the calendar flips to 2020.

Turning to United, central defender Harry Maguire and striker Marcus Rashford are minor doubts after having both started the EFL Cup win at Chelsea last night. (On that note, check out the very favorable draw MUFC received for the next round of the League Cup)

It remains to be seen whether or not midfielder Nemanja Matic and left back Luke Shaw will be available as well. Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will likely provide some updates and details tomorrow.

Paul Pogba remains out until December, while MUFC still have four additional long-term injury absentees in:  Axel Tuanzebe, Diogo Dalot, Eric Bailly and Timothy Fosu-Mensah.
