Manchester United were greeted by extremely rainy weather when they first arrived in Dubai, but the skies soon cleared. During their first full day of training in the United Arab Emirates metropolis, the Red Devils got exactly what they came for- a warm weather workout session.
United escaped the icy grip of a northwest England winter to get away and recuperate from a very hectic festive period schedule. They will train again in Dubai on Wednesday and Thursday before then flying back to Great Britain.

Before jetting off on the business trip, United manager Jose Mourinho said: “If we can have time to have a good, nice week to recover some injured players and tired players and, at the same time, work on some tactical details, then I think it would be good for the second part of the season.”
The Red Devils’ next game is Monday night, Premier League action against Stoke City. For more on the Dubai trip, with photos, here is the post that the club put up on their official website.
