Whomever decided to seat Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos right behind Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah at the UEFA Awards Ceremony tonight certainly has a sense of humor. Or tremendous acumen for producing reality television moments.
Ramos received the award for best defender in last year’s UEFA competition, and upon exiting the stage and returning to his seat he gave Salah a pat on his shoulder. Yes, the same shoulder that the Spaniard inflicted serious damage upon during an incident at the UCL Final in Kiev last May.
Watch below as Salah, rightfully, does not even give Ramos the slightest acknowledgment.

The entanglement, which Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp described as brutal and ruthless, left Salah with ligament damage that kept him out of Egypt’s first World Cup game. Sergio Ramos has never shown any remorse for that incident and still maintains that he did nothing wrong.
Salah, like Klopp, has rejected Ramos’ explanation of what happened. Photos and videos of the incident today went viral of course. The incident got a ton of reaction on social media, and most people’s commentary was naturally in line with their previously held allegiance.

This feud is probably not going to cool off any time soon.
