It seems like Jurgen Klopp really could be building something special at Anfield right now, and Jordan Henderson is a key piece to the big picture’s puzzle. Klopp is at a club where the community and fan base are just as extremely intense and overly passionate as he is. Or as Sir Alex Ferguson said, he’s a perfect fit for the club.

Liverpool had a really tough schedule to open the season, as their first four opponents were three of the four Premier League representatives in Champions League and Chelsea.

Amazingly, they took ten points from their match-ups against the three biggest London teams and the defending champions, Leicester City. The Reds won at Stamford Bridge today 2-1, with the first goal an absolutely sublime scoring strike by Jordan Henderson.

Wow! This is really amazing! Watch as Henderson curls it around into the top corner, just the absolutely perfect placement of the ball.

“It was really nice and it was deserved,” Klopp said of the Jordan Henderson goal.

“He’s a hard-worker and he’s still a young lad and a lot of pressure on his shoulders, and we are helping him to learn how to handle it and he’s getting better and better and better.

“He did well and gets the benefit of all the hard work with a wonderful, wonderful strike.”

Asked about the brace, Henderson said: “I was just thinking about protection, but there was a clearance and I just took a good touch at my feet and just tried to bend it in the far corner and thankfully it went in.”

“[Thibaut Courtois] is a world-class keeper, but it’s about time really I got a goal, but I always say the most important thing is the three points.”
