Eden Hazard to Reportedly Inform Chelsea He Wants a Move to Real Madrid

After many years of transfer speculation, Chelsea forward Eden Hazard has made up his mind about his club future. At least that’s what he told French radio station RMC — in an interview scheduled to air in its entirety during a documentary tomorrow night.

It’s become a summer transfer window tradition- will Eden Hazard leave Chelsea and join Real Madrid? Or will he stay? And the Belgian, who has 18 months left on his CFC deal, has certainly done all that is in his power to help fuel more transfer narrative coverage as he’s been transparent to the media about the indecision in his heart and mind.

“I know what I am going to do. I have made my decision,” Hazard said in the RMC interview. Now we must wait until the summer transfer window for official confirmation.

Or maybe not, according to a report in The Telegraph that claims Hazard will request a transfer to Real Madrid.

Telegraph Sport understands Hazard has not told Chelsea of his plans, but talks over a new contract have not progressed. It is, however, believed in Spain that Real have now given Hazard the assurances he wanted that they will make a bid to Chelsea to sign him.

This seems like the perfect time for the 27-year-old to finally pull the trigger on making this move after years of toying with the idea. Since Cristiano Ronaldo left Madrid for Juventus, the European champions have been lacking in galacticos, especially at the position Hazard occupies.

And while Chelsea were not going to let him go last summer, at any price, perhaps that has now changed. Given the massive financial windfall that an Eden Hazard sale would provide for the club, Real Madrid might make them an offer they can’t refuse.
