Huge Arsenal transfer news broke over the weekend, as you probably heard by now. Late Thursday, early into Friday it became public that Arsenal agreed to terms with Deportivo La Coruna for striker Lucas Perez Martinez for £17 million and a £35 million deal Shkodran Mustafi.
Arsenal Manager Arsene Wenger revealed that both players have passed their medicals.

“I think they should go through, both of them,” Wenger told a news conference. “We have to finish the paperwork. I don’t know exactly when we will announce it. But I think it will be announced early next week.”
So there you have it- expect the Lucas Perez and Mustafi product rollouts at the Emirates either Monday or Tuesday.
With the transfer window closing in just a mere three days, you should expect that this will be pretty much be the end of the Gunners transfer business this summer. Wenger reflected on the window, and also admitted to the failings that the club made in the transfer market this summer. He also insisted that his latest two additions are not panic buys.
