You have the perfect combination of words necessary for the imagery of this post : “Arsenal” “target” and “shotgun.” Mario Balotelli, who is being targeted by Arsenal, posted this controversial Instagram, which offended a lot of people. This photo received so much backlash that Balotelli has now deleted it.
The star of the Italy World Cup team is a lightning rod for criticism, and certainly no stranger to controversy, given all the hijinks he’s been up to during his career, and will almost certainly keep doing in the future.
Given how early the Italy national team crashed out of the World Cup, the critics are certainly out in full force right now. The shotgun, somewhat similar to the air rifles for competitive shooters on the market, is supposed to be directed at the haters, Balotelli claims.
You can see why he deleted the post so quickly, but not after it still managed to acquire 778 “likes,” some of which I assume were sarcastic. Obviously, posting this photo with this caption is far from the greatest idea that Balotelli has ever had.
The former Manchester City star captioned his post: “big kiss to all the haters.”
This frightening photo “shoot” pun intended, shows a judgment which is, kind of lacking. Maybe Arsene Wenger not landing this guy isn’t the worst thing in the world. Also, it’s quite comical how Mario Balotelli balances out his social media message of “I’m going to shoot you in the face and kill you” with all the goofy, silly fun-loving emoticons.
