Another long, dull international break is almost over, and it’s four days until Arsenal takes on Watford in a Premier League away fixture. It’s a little early to talk Gunners game preview material, but there’s plenty of transfer talk and gossip related to the north London club circulating on the internet right now.

Let’s take a spin through the inter webs and see what’s buzzing.

Arda Turan is unsettled at Barcelona, as he’s facing a very uphill battle to try and get playing time. Arsenal could be an escape route come January, reports the Daily Mail.

The Mail points out that “Turan has not played a single minute of the 11 matches played this campaign, and the 30-year-old will be offered to potential suitors when the transfer window opens in the new year…CNN in Turkey report that Arsenal have contacted the player’s representatives to learn of his intentions.”

Arda Turan moved to Barca from Atletico Madrid in the summer of 2015, but he’s having issues finding regular first team football with the Catalan club. The report goes on to mention that the Turkish international could be going back home in January, as his former club, Galatasaray could rival Arsenal to acquire his services.

-The Mirror reports that Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Mijat Gacinovic is being targeted by Arsenal, who will face serious competition from Manchester United and Bayern Munich. The Mirror’s online article even displays a photo of United Manager Jose Mourinho at one of Gacinovic’s matches, rocking a grey baseball cap.

-Everton are no longer interested in Olivier Giroud, and have now moved on to other transfer targets. The Mirror discusses how Giroud is ahead of Alexandre Lacazette on the depth chart for country, but beneath him in the club hierarchy.

.The Daily Mirror writes that:

“Despite being ahead of Lacazette with Les Bleus, Giroud will be unlikely to move in front of the former Lyon hit man at the Emirates, which is where Everton’s interest originated. But despite a woeful lack of options in attack, the Toffees want to switch targets, report the Sun, giving up on a deal for Giroud.”
