These days, the Tottenham Hotspur first team kind of picks itself. With so many injuries within the squad, manager Ange Postecoglu is very limited in his options. To his credit though, he hasn’t blamed the team’s recent slide on the injury crisis. Up next is a visit to Nottingham Forest, a side that currently sits just above the drop zone.
This is definitely a matchup of two sides with very different goals for the season.

For Forest, it’s all just about staying up in the top flight. If they survive relegation in 2023-24 then that’s a major win. For Spurs, well, I think the Premier League title is a pipe dream at this point. Sure, they were top of the table after the October international break, but they have since fallen off a cliff.
Now the main objective should be to get back in and then stay in the top four.
