Purdue college football will hold the third-annual Boilermakers Huddle in Heels Football Clinic on Saturday, June 4. This comprehensive overview of football basics is designed especially for the ladies; however, gentlemen also are welcome to join the fun.
Learn the basics of football from the Boilermaker coaches. Take part in a question-and-answer session with head coach Danny Hope and get your picture taken with a Boilermaker football star.
The Huddle in Heels will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Included in the program are presentations about basic football rules and terminology; recruiting; ball security and disruption; tackling; and the ins and outs of the locker room, players’ lounge and athletic training room. A “fashion show” will feature clothes from Follett’s and University Spirit.
The cost is just $35 for John Purdue Club members and students and $40 for non-members. All participants will receive a voucher for one ticket to the Boilermakers’ 2011 season-opening game against Middle Tennessee State on Sept. 3 and a t-shirt (ladies cut small through double-extra large), plus lunch and the opportunity to win divine prizes.
Huddle in Heels participants interested in capping their day with dinner and the evening program at John Purdue Club weekend can do so for $35. To register for the Huddle in Heels Football Clinic, contact the John Purdue Club by telephone at (800) 213-2239 or (765) 494-3248 or by email at jpc@purdue.edu.
